What a nice dining experience this place is! Make sure you get a reservation as they will get very full. They have a great selection of local wines and an extensive menu of a variety of eats that will leave you full. The tasting menu is a great option if you’re not sure what to get, and their cocktails are also well made. Overall a wonderful experience and will definitely come back for more food in the future!

Delicious, and excellent service. My partner and I each came in with different dietary restrictions. This can be a hassle for the staff preparing the meals, but they kindly accommodated our needs with no fuss. The server diligently checked with the chef regarding ingredients, and the chef was kind enough to prepare a dish for me that I would be able to eat. We had the 'glorious greens' salad, the seared halibut, and the house tagliatelle. The dressing on the salad was subtle but aromatic, and this was a lovely, light start to the meal. My partner had the seared halibut and said it was cooked perfectly, and the sauce was delicious. I had the tagliatelle. I can't eat tomatoes, so a buttery sauce was substituted with foraged mushrooms. It was wonderful, and if I had a bigger appetite or less willpower I might have ordered it a second time. Thank you, Dachi staff, for an excellent meal. I may have to bring my mother for her birthday :)

We love Dachi! We enjoyed the tasting menu last night, and we were provided with amazing service throughout the whole experience. Their wines are amazing - especially if you’re looking for low intervention, natural wine options. The food was unbelievable and unique, but still felt very organic and authentic. It was my partner’s birthday and they treated him to a lovely surprise at the end of the evening. Thank you thank you thank you! We will be back!

The food was spectacular. Highly recommend. Service was wonderful. Very high quality without being stuck up like many other Vancouver places. They were generous in accommodating food restrictions (went above and beyond). We did the tasting menu, which I highly recommend. Great atmosphere, and although it was next to Hastings, we sat outside on a warm summer day and it wasn’t loud at all. Do yourself a favour and go.

Kind staff, great food, & an extensive wine menu for those who partake. Have been a dozen times and they always kill it! Recently went on a busy night, and everyone was still able to make time for questions and explain the dishes. Very accommodating, and were able to adjust the serving for the amount of people we had at the table without question. Really love the staff here. Great mix of unique to classic dishes that keep you guessing. Not to mention they have good prices for the quality that will have you feeling full. One of my fav spots in the city! Always a delight and never had a negative experience! Thank you Dachi team 💛
